Round Steak trimmed/ Cut into 3oz portion

3 cups of water

1 Can of Onion Soup

1 Can of Tomato Soup

1 Can of Itialian Style Stewed Tomato

Bring to boil, then simmer.  In frying pan brown steak on medium heat.  Then add to soup.  Simmer for 1 1/2 hours

Beef Stew

2 lbs beef, trim away fat, cut bite size

Flour, salt, pepper in bag

Shake meat in bag

Brown in skillet with oil and a little butter

Make 2 Lipton onion soups with 6 cups water.  As meat browns, add to soup.  Add carrot pennies, 10-12 potatoes (uncooked), 1 can whole green beans (or one package frozen).  May need to thicken gravy in pot on stove.

Meatballs

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350.  Prepare Lipton Onion Soup, light on water (approx 3 cups).  Mix 2-3 lbs ground beef with 1 egg, ½ to ¾ cup Progresso Bread Crumbs, and Heinz Ketchup.  Roll Meatballs.  Place on cookie sheet.  Bake ½ hour.  Add a little soup at a time to 1 can mushroom soup (undiluted) so that you don’t get lumps.  Use whisk.  Add meatballs and simmer 45 minutes to 1 hour (or slow cooker 10 hours on low).  Can be thickened with flour – mix ¼ flour with 1 Tbsp cold water, mix well and strain in.  Repeat if necessary.  Serve with homemade smashed potatoes and PEAS!
