Cheesy Potato

1 – Bag frozen hashed potatoes ( shredded or southern style ) Thawed
1 – Stick of butter
1 – 2 cup package of SHARP (only) Cheddar Cheese
1 – small sour cream
1 – can of cream of chicken
1/2 cup chopped onion (optional)

In a large pan, over med. heat mix all ingredients except the hash brown potatoes.
When everything is melted, fold in the potatoes. Put in baking dish and bake at 350 for an hour.
Longer if recipe is doubled.
